"What should I be holding?" is the most asked question in every trading server. The honest answer is not "whatever is worth the most." It is a mix of value, demand, and stability. Here is how the market looks on our value list.
S-Tier: The vault (hold as long as you can)
Dragon West and Dragon East are the twin kings. About 5.15B and 4.7B, with 10/10 demand, and the most known flex in the game. Every trader wants one. Supply never keeps up. These move up over time and sell fast when you want out.
Kitsune is 660M physical with max demand. Its 5.6B permanent is one of the best stores of value in the game. Players have loved this fruit since it launched.
Control is a quiet hold. Modest physical value, but demand at 10/10 and a 5.6B permanent. PvP players never let it fall.
A-Tier: Working capital (your trading fuel)
Yeti and Tiger sit around 130-140M with 8-9/10 demand. These are fruits you trade with. Valuable enough to matter. Easy enough to move. Cheap enough to hold more than one.
Portal and Buddha are around 10M each but have 10/10 demand. Everyone needs them (Portal for travel, Buddha for grinding). You will never struggle to move these. Perfect for filling a trade that is 5% short.
Gas is 60M, 8/10 demand, and usually "Stable" across sources. Not flashy. Dependable.
B-Tier: Fine to hold, do not overweight
Dough (30M, 9/10) and Venom (20M, 8/10) have real demand, but their values have already settled. They store value. They do not grow it.
T-Rex and Spirit have decent numbers and average movement. Trade bait, not treasure.
The traps: high value, low exit
This is the tier that catches people. A big number with no demand is not wealth. It is furniture.
- Creation: 2.5M with 2/10 demand. It looks like a Legendary. It trades like a Common.
- Spider: 1.5M, 2/10 demand. Same story.
- Phoenix: 2.75M, 3/10 demand. Beautiful fruit. Dead market.
If someone offers these as the "value" side of a trade, run the numbers in the calculator. Then remember: the calculator cannot tell you how long you will be stuck holding them.
Limiteds: high risk, high reward
Event limiteds like Galaxy Empyrean Kitsune (13.5B) and Crimson Kitsune (9.75B) sit at the top of the market. Two warnings:
- Their prices are thin. Very few trades happen at these numbers, so "value" is more of a guess than it is for a Dragon.
- Overpaid tags are common. Hype inflates limiteds fast. The drop comes later. Check the market flag on each item's page before you buy in.
If you already hold a limited: be patient, and only exit into S-tier items or permanents.
The one-paragraph strategy
Keep most of your wealth in S-tier (Dragons, Kitsune, Control, or their permanents). Keep 2 to 4 A-tier fruits as trading fuel. Treat B-tier as filler. Never accept a trap-tier fruit as the main piece of a deal. Re-check the value list after every game update. Tiers change.
How to rebalance after an update
When a new fruit or rework hits, do this in order:
- Open the value list and note which of your items flipped Overpaid.
- If you hold an Overpaid limited, try to exit into Dragon, Kitsune, or a high-demand permanent. Do not exit into another hyped limited.
- Keep Buddha and Portal. Their job is to close small gaps, not to store billions.
- Run any offer over 500M through the calculator the same day. Old screenshots go stale fast.
Physical hold vs permanent hold
Physical S-tier is for trading. Permanent S-tier is for parking value you do not want to touch this week. If you only play on weekends, a permanent Kitsune or Control is easier to sit on than four physicals you might eat by mistake.
If you trade every day, keep more physical A-tier so you can say yes to Fair deals without unlocking your vault item.
What "hold" does not mean
Hold does not mean refuse every offer. If someone overpays 15% in high-demand fruits for your Dragon, that can be the right time to sell and rebuild. The calculator plus demand is the test. Pride in a skin is how people miss a good exit.
