After Third Sea, trading is how most players grow. Grinding gets you fruits. Trading turns them into the fruits you want. Values change with every update, and new traders are who lowballers hunt. This guide covers the basics so your first hundred trades are wins, not lessons.
How this site prices items
There is still no official price list. We store numbers from Traderie, Gamersberg, and Cosmic Values, then publish the middle number as the headline. If an item is only on one list, we say so on its page. We do not claim every fruit is checked three times. Demand is a 0-10 score for how easy it is to sell. Fair in the calculator means both sides are within about 5%. Re-check the live list after every game update.
How Blox Fruits values actually work
The developers have never published a price list. Values come from the community: what players will pay, tracked across many real trades. That is why sites can show different numbers, and why we compare more than one source.
Three things drive an item's value:
- Rarity and supply. Mythical fruits like Kitsune and Dragon West sit at the top because they are hard to pull and everyone wants them.
- Demand. Beginners skip this, and it is the most important number. A fruit can look "worth" a lot, but if nobody wants it, you will be stuck. Every item has a 0-10 demand rating for this reason.
- Permanent status. A permanent fruit (bought with Robux, stays forever) is worth many times more than the same fruit as a one-time drop. Buddha is around 10M as a regular fruit but over 1.5B as a permanent.
The golden rule: check before you accept
The in-game trade window shows what you get. It does not say if the trade is fair. Before you accept:
- Open our trade calculator
- Add your items on one side and their items on the other
- Read Win, Fair, or Lose, with the percent gap
Five seconds of checking beats a week of regret. Fair trades sit within about 5%. Beyond that, someone is gaining. Make sure it is you.
The five most common scams (and how they fail)
The confident lowball. "Bro, Kitsune dropped hard this update, it's barely worth 300M now." No it did not. Values move, but not as far as a scammer claims. Check the live value list. The numbers do not lie.
The demand trap. They offer a high-value fruit with very low demand for your lower-value, high-demand fruit. On paper you win. In real life you own something nobody will take. Check demand, not just value.
The rush. "Accept fast, I have to go!" Urgency is the scammer's favorite tool. Anyone rushing you profits from you not checking. Real traders wait.
The switcheroo. They build a great trade, then swap an item for junk right before you accept. The game resets the accept timer for this. Read every slot after any change.
The fake middleman. Someone "trusted" offers to hold items for a cross-trade. There is no safe middleman for in-game items. Only trade inside the trade window, only for things inside the trade window.
Building wealth: the trader's loop
Traders with huge inventories run the same loop:
- Hold high-demand items. A 10/10 fruit is easy to sell. You can turn it into anything.
- Hunt "Underpaid" tags. Items below their average are buying chances. Our list flags this on every item.
- Trade up in small, fair steps. Ten +5% trades grow faster (and safer) than hoping for one huge win.
- Re-check values after every game update. New fruits and reworks shuffle the board. Old knowledge is how veterans get caught.
Quick answers
What's the trade limit? Up to 4 items per side in the game. Our calculator matches that on purpose.
Should I accept "overpay" for my high-demand fruit? Usually yes. That is what high demand means. Confirm the overpay is real with the calculator.
Are gamepasses tradeable? Items like 2x Money and Dark Blade have real trade value. Check current prices before you include them.
Ready to trade? Start with the value list to see what your inventory is worth, then run your first offer through the calculator.
Your first week of trading
Start with fruits you can replace. Do not put your only Dragon or only permanent into a messy 4-item pile on day one. Trade A-tier fruits (Yeti, Gas, Portal) until you are fast with the calculator.
Write down three rules and keep them:
- No accept until the calculator has both sides.
- No trade if any item was swapped after you checked.
- No "I will add after" promises. If it is not in the window, it is not in the trade.
Servers with a lot of chat noise are where rushed mistakes happen. If you feel pushed, leave and re-open the trade later.
Gamepasses and scrolls
Gamepasses such as Dark Blade and 2x Money have trade value, but the Robux store price is not the trade price. Scrolls are easy to mix up with fruits of a similar name. Open the item page and confirm the category chip before you accept.
What this site will not do
We cannot restore a scammed fruit, talk to Roblox for you, or call a trade official. Values are community estimates. If a deal feels wrong, it is fine to decline. There will be another offer.
