Permanent fruits are the top of the Blox Fruits market. A regular Kitsune trades around 660M. The permanent version trades for over 5.6B. Same fruit. Same moves. Almost 10 times the price. This guide explains why, and when paying that extra makes sense.
What "permanent" actually means
A regular (physical) fruit is used up when you eat it. Store another fruit over it and it is gone. It is a one-time item. That is why even Mythicals can have a low physical value.
A permanent fruit is bought with Robux (or obtained in trades) and stays in your inventory forever. You can equip it, switch away, and come back any time. It is not one fruit. It is unlimited copies of that fruit.
That gap is the whole price. You are not paying for power. You are paying to keep it and switch freely.
Why permanents dominate trading
- They store value. Rich traders park wealth in permanents. Physical fruits rotate. Permanents hold.
- They stay in demand. Check our value list. Permanent versions of meta fruits like Dragon East, Dough, and Buddha often sit at 9-10/10 demand.
- They survive updates better. When a fruit gets a rework or a new Mythical drops, physical values swing a lot. Permanent values move too, but the floor is higher.
The 3-question test before you go permanent
1. Do you actually use this fruit every week? A permanent you use daily (Buddha for grinding, Kitsune for PvP) pays for itself in time saved. A permanent you might use someday is dead capital.
2. Is its demand 7 or higher? If you ever want to trade out, high demand is your exit. A cheap permanent with 2/10 demand, like Creation, is easy to get and hard to leave.
3. Is the physical version painful to get again? Fruits with tiny spawn odds are the ones worth owning as permanents. Fruits you can buy from the dealer every reset? Skip.
Three yeses: go for it. Two: think. One or zero: you are collecting, not investing. That is fine. Just know which one you are doing.
Trading into permanents the smart way
The usual path looks like this:
- Grind physical high-demand Mythicals (they are the easiest items to move)
- Stack several of them into one mid-tier permanent through trades
- Trade permanent for permanent upward as values shift
Every step should go through the trade calculator first. Permanent trades use the biggest numbers in the game. A "small" 10% miss on a permanent Dragon is worth more than most players' whole inventories.
Common permanent-trading mistakes
- Comparing a permanent to physicals 1 to 1. Four physical Kitsunes do not equal a permanent Kitsune, even if the raw values look close. The permanent's demand and update safety are worth extra.
- Buying low-rarity permanents at Robux price. The Robux store charges similar prices for permanents with very different trade value. Check the value list before you buy.
- Panic-selling after a nerf. Permanent values dip on nerf news and often recover. Physical values are the ones that crash for real.
Bottom line: permanents are the endgame of Blox Fruits trading. Get there with small fair trades. Check every step in the calculator. Hold permanents people actually want.
Physical vs permanent in the same window
The game lets both versions appear in trades. A regular Control is 170M. Permanent Control is 6B. If you glance at the icon and miss the version, you can donate billions. In our calculator, tap Regular or Permanent on each fruit. If the other player will not wait while you check, that is a signal to leave.
When a permanent is the wrong buy
Skip a permanent if you already own a better grind fruit, if demand is under 6, or if you would need to empty your whole inventory for it. A permanent you never equip is a locked pile of value. You can still trade it later, but only if demand stays high.
Robux shop prices also mislead. Two permanents can cost similar Robux and sit far apart on the value list. Always compare trade value, not the shop tag.
Stacking into one permanent
A clean path many traders use:
- Collect two or three high-demand physical Mythicals.
- Trade that stack for one mid permanent (Yeti, Dough, or similar).
- Later, add physicals onto that permanent to step up.
Each step should be Fair or a small Win in the calculator. Do not skip to a Dragon permanent in one messy 4v4 unless you have checked every version.
